INSPIRING
Antoinette and Jordan founded Happen Films in 2015, with a mission to share solutions focused films with the world. Showcasing solutions is carried through to their own lives: they're committed to living low waste, low footprint both in their personal lives and in their approach to filmmaking.
Together We Grow is a film they're particularly passionate about as it describes a genuinely practical and achievable solution to communities regaining access to quality food, improved mental and physical health, and social connection – all elements that are so critical for a global population that urgently needs to reconnect at a local level.

What you shared about how you can build trust with your teams:
Recording from the event coming soon.
This video made me feel like I should be doing more team building activities - doing things that actually make people get out of their comfort-zone and building that face-to-face connection.
Be opening to learning and sharing experiences, and give everyone the space to stretch in a collaborative way
By being a good person. By being there for them, and not stabbing them in the back
Matching words with actions
Make efforts for one-on-ones, do regular GTKY questions at start of Standups
Showing you trust others implicitly makes them trust you in return
Creating safe spaces
Let people try even if they haven't done it before
Understanding and empathizing with their backgrounds
Listen with empathy and speak with compassion.
Action #1 - Engage in community action.
"Take one step today to contribute to your local community. Whether it's volunteering, supporting a local cause, or starting a small project, together we can create positive change.”
Action # 2 - Support sustainable practices.
"Commit to a sustainable practice in your daily life, whether it’s growing your own food, supporting local farmers, or reducing waste. Small actions can lead to big impacts when we grow together.”
Action #3 - Foster meaningful connections.
"Reach out to someone in your network and start a conversation about growth—whether personal, professional, or community-driven. Let’s build relationships that encourage mutual support and progress.”
