Best Buy invites you to an exceptional documentary film screening and discussion event.

Please join us for a screening of Woman in Motion and a conversation with storyteller Todd Thompson, hosted by John Hardy.

This session focuses on the challenge of building a workplace culture where courage, belonging, and inclusive behaviors are not only encouraged but woven into daily practices, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and engaged. Through the inspiring story of Nichelle Nichols, as captured in the documentary Woman in Motion, participants will explore how to act boldly in the face of fear, foster empathy and vulnerability, and understand how inclusive behaviors lead to psychological safety, a sense of belonging, and innovation. This session aligns with Best Buy’s leadership expectations around inclusive behaviors, reinforcing the importance of courage, belonging, and engagement in driving organizational success.

Session Objectives:

1. Enhance Understanding of Inclusive Behaviors: Participants will gain insights into how vulnerability, empathy, courage, and grace can be practiced and modeled within the workplace.

2. Promote Psychological Safety: Equip leaders and employees with strategies to create a psychologically safe environment that encourages risk-taking, innovation, and mutual respect.

3. Translate Courage into Action: Inspired by the story of Nichelle Nichols, provide actionable steps for individuals to embody and promote courage in their daily work.
